Amy Hoerler's Portfolio
Amy Hoerler is an accomplished actress with a passion for the craft that began at age 5. After the tragic events of 9/11, she knew that acting was her true calling and set out to make it her career. She honed her skills in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, studying at the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse and Atlantic Theatre Company.
Her talents have been showcased on various stages in New York City, including PS122, La MaMa, HERE, Wings, and the 13th Street Rep. She made a notable achievement by playing the female lead, Molly, in the longest-running off-off Broadway play in New York history, LINE, displaying her versatility and skill as a lead actress.
In addition to her stage work, Amy has also starred in student and independent films, including Lulu Wang's Can-Can. After relocating to Florida, she became a Master Acting student of Burt Reynolds at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre (2010-2018). She has since worked on several notable projects, including Adam Rifkin's The Last Movie Star, Dan Myrick's Black Veil, and three Cuartas Bros shorts (Kuru, The Horse and The Stag, Twelve Traditions).
Amy continues to honor her promise to Burt Reynolds never to quit acting. She is a SAG-AFTRA member in good standing and resides near Palm Springs, California and is available as a modified local hire on SAG-AFTRA projects.
