I am a Midwesterner by birth and moved to the desert in January 2016. I am a retired mechanical engineer. Motorsports fan since childhood and have been to all sorts of events in the US. Have also driven a few race cars, but not in competition. Somewhat of a computer and photography geek also. Been to 37 states and 11 countries; expatriate in Taiwan for 6 years. Movie and TV buff since childhood. Sometimes what I remember even scares me!?!?
